We have expressed this concern to WedgeWood and because we no longer want to host an event, have asked for a refund. With no indication when COVID pandemic will end, my wife and I have decided it best to not host a wedding for the safety of our loved ones and the community as a whole. WedgeWood has offered us a chance to reschedule but they will not issue a refund for what we have paid. At this point, my wife and I have paid WedgeWood about $3,500 for a wedding that has not happened. There was no indication that WedgeWood would be able to host a wedding on January 16th, 2021. On November 27th, 2020, WedgeWood Weddings called us and together, my wife and I along with WedgeWood Weddings decided it was best to cancel the January 16th, 2021 wedding as the COVID cases in the area had spiked and current regulations was barring WedgeWood from hosting weddings. During this rescheduling, we added a few more people to our guest list and paid WedgeWood another $500 so we were 50% paid on our new wedding date. My wife and I rescheduled with WedgeWood to have the wedding on January 16th, 2021, thinking that the COVID pandemic would not last long. WedgeWood offered to refund 50% of what we had paid and apply the other 50% to a rescheduled date. On March 17th, 2020, the COVID pandemic hit and the wedding had to be cancelled. On March 10th, 2020, my wife and I had fully paid, about $6,000, for the wedding. With them, we planned a wedding for March 20th, 2020.
